I was ministering this morning and God led me to this scripture..."And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him". Hebrews 11:6 (NIV). The first part of this verse is a pretty popular scripture, but the second is something I believe we need to meditate on. It says that not only does God want us to believe in Him, but that He also wants us to believe that He wants to reward us for seeking Him. Sometimes during our trials it's easy to forget that it's God's desire to bless us and reward us, but that is precisely what God wants us to remember - that He has a good plan for us, loving thoughts toward us, that He wants to heal us, reward us, and bless us with everything we need. What a cool Bible promise to remember and think about!
